About Us

The El Dorado Backyard Beekeepers were originally established in 2011 to promote beekeeping in El Dorado County. In 2017 the club changed its name to El Dorado Beekeepers and in 2018, became a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. See our bylaws

The club is run by a 6-member board of directors. Board meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Club members are welcome to attend these meetings. For location email: [email protected].

Membership meetings are held the second Sunday of the month from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm, and are open to the public.
