Honey for club members! Did you get yours?

If you're a current club member, bring an 8oz jar to the Holiday Social and have it filled with this year's honey from our club apiary located near the Sherwood Demonstration Garden.

Attention Artistic Beekeepers!

We need your talents to design a very special, one-time, limited-edition, El Dorado Beekeepers T-shirt! If you are interested, please submit your T-shirt design ideas to [email protected] by December 31st, 2022. These limited-edition t-shirts will be given as gifts to all our wonderful volunteers throughout the 2022-2023 year. And the best news? If your design is picked, you will be gifted your very own T-shirt with your design to show off to all your friends and fellow beekeepers!

Hey everyone, come on out for our open apiary days! The Club apiary, located at the Sherwood Demonstration Garden. will now be open the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month if weather permits. Check the times on our Facebook group. The hives are across from the garden. Club Beekeeper Jim Guilliams will be available to open hives, answer questions and demonstrate techniques. If you're not working with a mentor, this is a great opportunity to get your questions answered!

Questions about what's going on with your bees? Try our Facebook group

If you can't figure out what the heck's going on in that hive, check out our Facebook group, where club members post questions, answers, and many opinions. The answer is usually "no, that's a drone". You can also post photos of your beekeeping successes!
